The return request for an opened mattress can be made no earlier than 101 days after delivery. The return request for an opened mattress must be made no later than 120 days after delivery.

You may cancel an order any time prior to processing.

Refunds will be issued in the form of a check. If you purchased a product using an offer code, the dollar value of the offer code will not be refunded or credited back if any or all products are returned.

Promotional Items Included With Mattress Purchase: If you wish to return your mattress, you may either keep, return, donate, or dispose of the promotional items included with your mattress purchase. The value of all promotional items included with your mattress purchase will be deducted from the total value of the mattress return, regardless of the above option you choose to exercise. Due to the nature of our promotional products, we cannot physically receive opened and/or used products; however, if your promotional items are used and/or opened and you do not want them, you may donate or dispose of them at your preference and convenience. We currently accept returns of unopened promotional products at this time.

Unless a product exchange is requested due to a manufacturing defect or warranty claim, exchanges are processed as return and refund requests as described herein. After returning the product to be exchanged, you may place an order for the replacement product. You may only request one exchange. No refunds will be given for fees for shipping or for White Glove Service.

If you wish to return any products you purchased from us, please contact Customer Service by c licking here to initiate a return request. Once the products have been returned and if such products fulfill the terms and conditions herein, you will be refunded the entire amount paid for such products less the value of (i) any offer code or other discounts, (ii) any included promotional products, (iii) fees for shipping, and/or (iv) fees for White Glove Services.

Unopened mattresses and accessories are not eligible for return and refund after delivery.

To return, products must be in a condition where we can donate them, with only normal wear and tear (in our sole discretion).

Products must have been used only for its intended purpose. This includes using the product on an appropriate base, frame, or foundation. Environmental damage, such as mold, due to the misuse of the product in this way voids return eligibility.

Mattresses that have not been opened within 90 days of delivery are considered misused and are ineligible for warranty claims and returns.

You must submit all required information and documentation requested by our Customer Care team to complete your return within 30 days of your return and refund request. If you do not, the refund request must be re-submitted.

Products shipped outside of the contiguous United States are not eligible for return.

All mattresses purchased prior to April 6, 2021 at 06:00:00 AM EST are not eligible for immediate model exchanges, updates, or alterations. Returns of mattresses purchased prior to this date and time due to potential manufacturing defect will be processed as usual and may be approved at Texan Mattress’s sole discretion

Limit one return or refund per customer. Invoices discounted in excess of the sales price or Floor Sample purchases are exempt from returns or exchanges.

Lifetime Mattress Warranty

Texan mattresses are covered by an industry-leading lifetime warranty. Mattresses covered are Dreamcloud, Nectar, Ghostbed, and The World's Best Hybrid. Texan Mattress will replace any mattress from the original owner should it be defective due to faulty workmanship or structural defects, at our option and subject to the limitations and conditions described in this warranty.

The Lifetime Warranty Covers

Any visible and lasting indentation (Body impression) greater than one (1.0) inch not associated from a sag in the foundation, box springs, or platform (mattress support); and any physical flaw in the mattress causing the material to split or crack, despite normal usage and proper handling.
Texan Mattress does not prorate any warranty and will cover delivery costs of your replacement mattress.
Texan mattresses are designed to be used on a firm, solid-surface, standard mattress foundation or boxspring or adjustable bed base (mattress supports). This warranty is contingent and based on tests conducted on “sets” that consist of our mattresses and acceptable mattress supports as noted above.

This lifetime warranty does not cover any normal increase or decrease in the feel or any normal decrease in the recovery feature of the comfort material, neither of which affect the performance or pressure-relieving qualities of the mattress. Nor changes in the cooling properties of the mattress which may decrease over time with use and exposure to the environment.

In order to keep the lifetime warranty valid

Be the original consumer or purchaser. Coverage terminates if you sell or otherwise transfer the mattress.
Have purchased the mattress from texanmattress.com or a Texan Mattress retail location.
Provide proof of purchase via copy of original store receipt reflecting proof of purchase date, place of purchase and purchase price.

IF AN INAPPROPRIATE FOUNDATION, PLATFORM BEDFRAME USING A SLAT BASE WHICH ARE MORE THAN 5” APART (MATTRESS SUPPORTS) ARE USED WITH THIS MATTRESS, SUCH USE MAY VOID THIS WARRANTY AND ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE

The outer mattress cover is warranted for one (1) year from the date of original purchase against faults in material or workmanship. If the mattress, foundation, or cover is physically abused, damaged, soiled, burned, cut or torn, this warranty is void.

This warranty is valid only for the original purchaser of the product. An original purchaser is one who purchased the product directly from Texan Mattress. If you are not the original purchaser of this product, you take it “as is” and “with all faults.” Proof of original purchase is required in order to be eligible to make a valid claim under this warranty.

This limited warranty provides the original mattress purchaser specific legal rights, one may enjoy additional rights based upon one’s domicile state.

Contact Texan Mattress to determine that a warranty problem exists, Texan Mattress will replace the defective product in a timely manner.

What are the dimensions of a mattress?

What should you consider when buying a new mattress?

Comfort, support and durability are the most important factors to look for first. After that, take price into consideration.

How do you test a new mattress out?

Remove your shoes and lie on the bed.
Lie down in several different positions, especially the one you sleep in.
Pay close attention to lower back support and posture alignment, and make sure you feel plenty of comfort at the shoulders and hips.
If you share a bed, shop with your partner so the selection of your new bed is made together.

Does my sleep position matter when selecting a new mattress?

Yes, sleep positions matters in terms of which pressure points are affected during sleep, as well as how the spine is supported. Because each individual sleeper is different, the only way to determine which mattress and comfort level works best for your sleep position is to test out the different mattresses in the store. It helps to talk to the salesperson about which options are available so they can make recommendations based on your personal needs.

Does a mattress have to be firm to be supportive?

With today's modern mattresses, the support comes from the innerspring. The comfort layers determine the surface "feel." What's the difference between a box spring and a platform bed frame?

A platform bed frame (like the Weekender Folding Metal Platform), eliminates the need for a box spring because it provides a supportive base for your mattress. It is a cost-saving option that is much easier to move than a box spring while providing space for storage under your bed. Box springs are essentially a wooden box covered in material designed to support your mattress. A bed frame provides the same option with a different look and feel. Our platform bed frames are durable because they are built to hold up to 2500 pounds of weight. Stop in to see them for yourself. A basic bed frame (featured in the video below) is designed to be placed under a box spring.

What is a hybrid mattress?

A hybrid mattress is a multi-layer bed that combines memory foam, latex, or gel along with an innerspring system. Sleepers can experience both the pressure relief of the foam layers and the sturdy feel of a classic spring mattress. It is the perfect blend of two or more superior products. At Texan Mattress you can purchase hybrids from the top brands Dreamcloud, Awara, and Ghostbed. Dreamcloud offers a perimeter pocketed coil mattress paired with high density support foam offering medium to plush feels. The dreamcloud is ideal for side and back sleepers. The Awara organic latex hybrid combines premium dunlap latex over a premium pocketed coil unit. Does a Ghostbed mattress need a box spring?

A Ghostbed mattress needs a hard surface which can be a box spring, platform bed, adjustable bed frame, or a better than a box spring folding bed frame available at all Texan Mattress locations.

How long does a Ghostbed mattress take to expand?

A Ghostbed mattress needs up to 48 hours to completely expand. Once you open the mattress it will expand to close to 80% and can be used at this point. It will expand 100% in 48 hours from unboxing.

Can you use any mattress on an adjustable base?

All mattresses sold on texanmattress.com and in store at all Texan Mattress locations are adjustable base friendly. While pocketed coil mattresses work on adjustable bed bases all foam mattresses perform better. An all foam mattress will stay on the base better and have less of a tendency for the quilted cover to bunch in the middle.
