Donation and recycling require a confirmed destination
Do not assume a charity, apartment collection area or household recycling service accepts a mattress. Ask the receiving organization or your local waste-service provider about the exact item before you transport it. Ask whether the mattress and foundation are handled separately and whether fabric, foam, wood or metal components are recovered. Removal and recycling are different services, so confirm the destination if recycling is a priority.

Under our current haul-away terms, removal is free on qualifying purchases of $999 or more when available; otherwise the recycling charge is $50. Availability depends on the order, delivery area and carrier. Confirm the exact number and type of items before purchase.

- Keep claim documents and photographs if the old mattress is being evaluated under warranty.
- Book the accepted removal or drop-off route and confirm its cost.
- Remove bedding and personal items, then follow the provider's preparation instructions.
- Confirm stairs, gates, elevators and the agreed item count before the appointment.
