How do I compare the same mattress at different stores?
Match the model, size, firmness, cover and any cooling upgrade. Check whether the price includes a mattress only or a mattress-and-base package. Then compare shipping service, setup, haul-away and written comfort terms. A Twin starting price should not be compared with a Queen price.
Is shipping free?
Texan Mattress provides free standard shipping on all items within the contiguous 48 United States. Alaska and Hawaii are excluded. The product, delivery address and carrier coverage determine the standard delivery method. See the shipping and delivery policy.
Does free delivery include setup or old-mattress removal?
Only when your written order includes those services. Standard boxed, parcel or freight delivery does not automatically include bedroom placement, assembly, setup or haul-away. Qualifying local orders and selected Tempur-Pedic, Sealy and Stearns & Foster orders may include scheduled in-home services. Confirm what is included for your product and address before ordering.
When will my order arrive?
Check the estimate on the selected product and confirm scheduling with our team. The written shipping policy gives general estimates of 3–5 business days for other local mattress deliveries, 5–7 business days for nationwide Helix, WinkBed, Leesa, Bear, Birch and Avocado mattress orders, and 2–3 weeks for nationwide Tempur-Pedic, Sealy and Stearns & Foster mattress orders. These are estimates, not guaranteed dates. Production, special sizes, inventory and carrier schedules can affect timing.
What does the mattress comfort exchange cover?
Eligible new Helix and Avocado mattresses purchased on or after September 23, 2026 allow one eligible exchange request during days 101–365 after delivery. Other eligible new mattresses allow one eligible request during days 101–120. Both programs require a 100-night adjustment period first.
The replacement must be of equal or greater value; you pay any price difference. The original mattress must meet the written condition and support requirements. This is a comfort exchange, not a cash-refund trial. Review the full comfort-exchange terms and exclusions.
Does the manufacturer's website trial apply to my Texan Mattress order?
Not automatically. Your Texan Mattress order follows the written retail purchase terms provided with that order. Manufacturer warranties are separate and depend on the specific product and qualifying purchase.
Can I return pillows, protectors, sheets or adjustable bases after trying them?
Unless different written terms are supplied with your purchase, pillows, sheets, protectors, toppers, adjustable bases, foundations and other accessories are final sale, subject to applicable law and any applicable warranty. Ask about fit, dimensions and compatibility before ordering.
Can I try every online mattress at a showroom?
No. Online availability does not establish a showroom display. Bear Original Hybrid and Titan Plus Luxe are online-only listings. Use the showroom directory and call the selected store before a special trip for a particular model, feel, size or cover.
How do I choose a pillow for two sleepers?
Fit each sleeper separately. Compare compressed height, fill, feel and sleep position. You can order two pillows of the same configuration by choosing quantity two, or add different sizes, lofts or models separately. Compare Ice Cloud cooling memory foam with Zoned Talalay latex, or use the Malouf pillow guide.
