At Texan Mattress, we want you to be completely satisfied with your new sleep set. Please review our policy below for details on returns and exchanges.

1. General Return & Exchange Policy

We offer a one-time comfort exchange within 101 nights of your original delivery date. This exchange is a one-for-one swap for a mattress of equal or greater value. We require a minimum 30-night break-in period to allow your body to adjust to the new sleep surface. To qualify, you must have purchased an approved mattress protector from us and used it every night. Mattresses must be clean, sanitary, and free of stains, rips, or odors.

• Pillows, protectors, adjustable bases, sheets, and other accessories are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange.

• Promotional Items: If your original purchase included free promotional items (such as pillows, sheets, or protectors), these items are yours to keep. However, the full retail value of these free items will be deducted from your refund or exchange credit upon the return or exchange of the mattress.

2. Brand-Specific Policies

Some of our premium brands have their own specific policies.

• Avocado Mattress: The Avocado Green Mattress comes with a one-year trial period. If you are not satisfied, you may return the mattress for a full refund after a minimum 30-night adjustment period. The mattress must be clean and undamaged. Contact us to arrange the return. A charge of $99 will be applied for pick up and recycling.

• Sealy Posturepedic, Sherwood, Diamond & Tempur-Pedic: These mattresses are part of our general 101-night comfort exchange policy. They are eligible for a one-time exchange after the required 30-night break-in period. A mattress protector must be purchased and used to be eligible for the exchange. A fee of $99 will be applied for pick up and redelivery. No restocking fees.

• WinkBeds, Helix and Birch mattresses come with a 120-night risk-free trial. To be eligible for a return or exchange, you must use the mattress for a required 30-night break-in period to allow your body to adjust.

  • Exchange Option: You are eligible for a one-time exchange for a different firmness level. A $49.00 transport fee applies to cover the pickup of your old mattress and the delivery of the new one.

  • Return Option: If you choose to return the mattress for a refund after the 30-night period, a full refund of the purchase price will be issued.

  • Requirements: The mattress must be in donatable condition (free of stains, tears, or odors). While we highly recommend using a mattress protector to ensure eligibility, it is not a mandatory purchase under the WinkBeds standard factory warranty.

3. Damaged or Defective Items

If your mattress or foundation arrives damaged or defective, please refuse delivery and contact us immediately. We will arrange for a replacement. If you discover a defect after accepting delivery, notify us within 24 hours so we can inspect the item and resolve the issue with the manufacturer.

4. How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

To start the process, please contact our customer service team via phone or email with your original order number. Our representatives will guide you through the next steps and verify your eligibility based on the terms of this policy.

5. Exclusions

Please note that all sales are final after the utilizing your one time exchange.

The following items are final sale and not eligible for return, exchange, or refund:

• Floor samples

• Closeout items

• Discontinued items

• Pillows, Protectors, Toppers, Adjustable Bases, and Box Spring

6. Free Items with Purchase

If your order included free items with purchase (such as promotional pillows, sheets, or other accessories), the value of these free items will be deducted from the refund amount for any return or exchange. You may keep the free items.
