At Texan Mattress, we want you to be completely satisfied with your new sleep set. Please review our policy below for details on returns and exchanges.
1. General Return & Exchange Policy
We offer a one-time comfort exchange within 101 nights of your original delivery date. This exchange is a one-for-one swap for a mattress of equal or greater value. We require a minimum 30-night break-in period to allow your body to adjust to the new sleep surface. To qualify, you must have purchased an approved mattress protector from us and used it every night. Mattresses must be clean, sanitary, and free of stains, rips, or odors.

Pillows, protectors, adjustable bases, sheets, and other accessories are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange.

Promotional Items: If your original purchase included free promotional items (such as pillows, sheets, or protectors), these items are yours to keep. However, the full retail value of these free items will be deducted from your refund or exchange credit upon the return or exchange of the mattress.
2. Brand-Specific Policies

Avocado Mattress: The Avocado Green Mattress comes with a one-year trial period. If you are not satisfied, you may return the mattress for a full refund after a minimum 30-night adjustment period. The mattress must be clean and undamaged. Contact us to arrange the return. A charge of $99 will be applied for pick up and recycling.

Sealy Posturepedic, Sherwood, Diamond & Tempur-Pedic: These mattresses are part of our general 101-night comfort exchange policy. They are eligible for a one-time exchange after the required 30-night break-in period. A mattress protector must be purchased and used to be eligible for the exchange. A fee of $99 will be applied for pick up and redelivery. No restocking fees.

WinkBeds, Helix and Birch mattresses come with a 120-night risk-free trial. To be eligible for a return or exchange, you must use the mattress for a required 30-night break-in period to allow your body to adjust.
• Exchange Option: You are eligible for a one-time exchange for a different firmness level. A $49.00 transport fee applies to cover the pickup of your old mattress and the delivery of the new one.
• Return Option: If you choose to return the mattress for a refund after the 30-night period, a full refund of the purchase price will be issued.
• Requirements: The mattress must be in donatable condition (free of stains, tears, or odors). While we highly recommend using a mattress protector to ensure eligibility, it is not a mandatory purchase under the WinkBeds standard factory warranty.
3. Damaged or Defective Items
If your mattress or foundation arrives damaged or defective, please refuse delivery and contact us immediately. We will arrange for a replacement. If you discover a defect after accepting delivery, notify us within 24 hours so we can inspect the item and resolve the issue with the manufacturer.
4. How to Initiate a Return or Exchange
To start the process, please contact our customer service team via phone or email with your original order number. Our representatives will guide you through the next steps and verify your eligibility based on the terms of this policy.
5. Exclusions
Please note that all sales are final after the utilizing your one time exchange.

6. Free Items with Purchase
If your order included free items with purchase (such as promotional pillows, sheets, or other accessories), the value of these free items will be deducted from the refund amount for any return or exchange. You may keep the free items.
Texan mattresses are covered by an industry-leading lifetime warranty. Texan Mattress will replace any mattress from the original owner should it be defective due to faulty workmanship or structural defects, at our option and subject to the limitations and conditions described in this warranty.
The Lifetime Warranty Covers
- Any visible and lasting indentation (Body impression) greater than one (1.0) inch not associated from a sag in the foundation, box springs, or platform (mattress support); and any physical flaw in the mattress causing the material to split or crack, despite normal usage and proper handling.
- Texan Mattress does not prorate any warranty and will cover delivery costs of your replacement mattress.
- Texan mattresses are designed to be used on a firm, solid-surface, standard mattress foundation or boxspring or adjustable bed base (mattress supports). This warranty is contingent and based on tests conducted on “sets” that consist of our mattresses and acceptable mattress supports as noted above.
This lifetime warranty does not cover any normal increase or decrease in the feel or any normal decrease in the recovery feature of the comfort material, neither of which affect the performance or pressure-relieving qualities of the mattress. Nor changes in the cooling properties of the mattress which may decrease over time with use and exposure to the environment.
In order to keep the lifetime warranty valid
- Be the original consumer or purchaser. Coverage terminates if you sell or otherwise transfer the mattress.
- Have purchased the mattress from texanmattress.com or a Texan Mattress retail location.
- Provide proof of purchase via copy of original store receipt reflecting proof of purchase date, place of purchase and purchase price.
IF AN INAPPROPRIATE FOUNDATION, PLATFORM BEDFRAME USING A SLAT BASE WHICH ARE MORE THAN 5” APART (MATTRESS SUPPORTS) ARE USED WITH THIS MATTRESS, SUCH USE MAY VOID THIS WARRANTY AND ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
The outer mattress cover is warranted for one (1) year from the date of original purchase against faults in material or workmanship. If the mattress, foundation, or cover is physically abused, damaged, soiled, burned, cut or torn, this warranty is void.
This warranty is valid only for the original purchaser of the product. An original purchaser is one who purchased the product directly from Texan Mattress. If you are not the original purchaser of this product, you take it “as is” and “with all faults.” Proof of original purchase is required in order to be eligible to make a valid claim under this warranty.
This limited warranty provides the original mattress purchaser specific legal rights, one may enjoy additional rights based upon one’s domicile state.
