Full mattress dimensions and shopping guide
A Full, also called a Double, is approximately 54 inches wide and 75 inches long. It gives one sleeper about 16 inches more width than a Twin while keeping the same nominal length. It can suit a guest room or a single sleeper who wants more space to turn.
Full vs Queen: choose width and length together
A Queen is about six inches wider and five inches longer than a Full. Two people sharing a Full have about 27 inches of nominal width each, so compare a Queen or King if personal space is a priority. Measure the complete bed frame and walking paths before selecting the larger size.

Are Full and Double the same mattress size?
Yes. In standard U.S. sizing, Full and Double usually refer to the same approximate 54-by-75-inch size. Full XL and specialty RV sizes have different dimensions, so check the exact product label.
