Queen mattress dimensions and shopping guide
A standard Queen mattress is approximately 60 inches wide and 80 inches long. It is a common starting point for couples and single sleepers who want extra room. Compare the full frame footprint with your bedroom’s usable space, not just the mattress dimensions.
Choose a Queen by how you sleep
For two people, Queen provides about 30 inches of nominal width per sleeper. Compare motion isolation, ease of turning and edge feel together. If both sleepers need more personal width, a King adds about 16 inches without changing the nominal length. If you sleep hot, also compare mattress construction and bedding.

Does a Queen mattress fit a Full frame?
No. Queen and Full have different nominal widths and lengths. Match the mattress to the exact frame, foundation or adjustable base size. Check finished dimensions when the fit is tight.
